The Grand Tour

Brought 2 Nova carry ons. Sand colour for myself and red for my wife. Wool l and Oak had a great promotional deal for Black Friday- TBH, I’d been waiting for the deal to drop. Perfect Christmas gifts! Didn’t get to use it properly until last month at a work conference in Marco Island, Florida, I usually check in for these kinds of events as I’m working and I need to be there for a week. The Nova nailed it! Packed all I needed for daytime work and themed parties at night-a closet full of clothes!. No issue carrying it on the plane, I just had a small underseat backpack to carry my laptop etc. I can’t believe the craftsmanship and care that’s gone into making these. Best luggage I’ve ever owned. Have a European vacation coming up in July; thinking of buying the smaller nylon version and ditching the check in shenanigans all together! Maybe a summer discount, deal, Wool and Oak?

I purchased the Large Nova with some concern, “would this bag really live up to the expectation set by the company at the price being charged?” I’m happy to report that I’m blown away and very satisfied. The quality is top of the line. I’ve put a suit, sport coat, slacks and two shirts in the bottom. Shoes in the shoe compartment. Additional shirt, socks, underwear, toiletry bag. Laptop and kindle in its rightful pocket, charger and Bose headset. Water bottle. There’s still room. While walking through the airport my wife commented, “that’s a sharp looking bag”.

It took me several months going back and forth about the price. I’m happy to say it’s worth every penny. It just re-enforced a lesson I’ve always taught, “quality is expensive but worth it in the long run”. I’m sure I’ll be traveling with this bag for years to com.

I just completed my first trip with the Nova. It met every expectation. Room for everything needed for a five day trip. No problem carrying a suit and sport jacket with pants. It moved through the airport easily and I was especially pleased how well it handled movement in the airplane aisles. It fit the overheads perfectly. I do not mind paying for quality and functionality. I got what I paid for which including a second Nova for my traveling partner.
